My favorite is the player that CANNOT read anyone, so he mistakenly believes nobody can read him. NOT TRUE! This lady the other night played like she was online. She was on the button once (last to act) the river card hits and she grabs a stack of BIG chips. The 2 ladies between her and I bet and raised each other. I folded without hesitation, because I saw what was happening. The button put the other 2 all-in and they both claimed to be too invested and called away all of their chips to the A-A-A-Q-Q of the button.
Did this hand have to go down this way? Was anyone but me on my channel? Nonsense, everyone should have been paying attention and tracking down key information.
You know, it is important to figure out how someone bets (smaller, bigger, stack slider, pot splasher, fast or slow) BUT it's probablty MORE important to note what they DON'T do.

If a player never pushes all of his chips into the pot, but this hand he did.

A player keeps popping every single street, every single hand and now he's checking.

It's the unique behavior that requires more attention than a player's natural tendencies.
