The other day i was playing poker and a friend of mine said hey i am going to squeeze you guys all night long. I looked at him and said your crazy your just going to lose all your chips but then i had and idea. My idea was to limp in with big hands and let him try to squeeze which he did. Of course i got all his chips at the end of the night. The part of the story i didn't like was him saying he was going to squeeze play us all night. If he did not say anything than i think it would of worked but

my play of attack was waiting for this. For those of you who do not know what the squeeze play is its when there are multiple people in the hand one raises and the other raises above them and squeezes them out of the hand. Basically if its done right you can do this with any two cards. For example the 4 th person in the hand raises 3 times the blind the next 2 call then the next person raises a little more like 5 times the blinds then u push all in and squeeze the guys out of the hand and if they call you have outs to fall back on. It works really good in a 5 or 6 handed game. The way to beat this is limp in with ace king or pocket kings and try to trap the player into squeezing you. So what if they beat you in the hand with 9 3 off maroon or any other hand. At least you played your hand right and the outcome is up to the poker gods. Limping in does not hurt your poker image it makes you look even stronger like wow this guys tight and will not even raise with a monster. So i think in tournaments the squeeze play is much more effective. I do not think that players will risk their tournament life on any two cards they have unless its big cards or say pocket 10s or better. The player just looks to strong with a raise a raise and a re re raise in front of him then all fold and like i said so what if hes got aces you still have outs.
