I think there is reason why people call you when you are betting. They think they can beat you or hope you have they have the best hand. The other day i played a pot and raised pre flop. On the flop bet and on the river bet 2/3 of the pot. The guy called me all the way down with bottom pair and won. The board was king jack 8 the guy had 8 4 off suit. I ask this question again and again how can a player call when someone bets the whole way and the same bad answer i get from the player

its you. I had pocket 7s in that hand but it does not matter. I just do not see how someone can risk good cash in a hand with bottom pair and a 4 kicker. So i have come to the conclusion that there is no amount of money i can bet to get a guy off a hand. So i have been using this to my advantage the rest of the time i played. I was down 300 early in a 2 5 game and came right back to 650. The reason is the players are still playing the same against me. I have been making the same raises and the same bad plays but when i have a hand i over bet. I have found when i over bet i get a lot of calls for some reason. So i have open ended straight draw i am betting the whole way. The river comes i hit it and i push all in. The reason i push is to prove my theory that there is no amount of money i can bet for players to fold. They all think i bluff a lot. So they pay me off again and again. Now if i play and the players do not know me i bet 2/3 of the pot as a value bet to get more money from players. I still can not figure out why people in nature have the idea that hey i might be good here or i hope i can win here. OHHH i forgot that is why we have the lottery. LOL. My friend always says the lottery is for the mathematically challenged. So my advice to you poker world is if you flop a set or a monster hand and you have played with these people a lot. You have to bet your set or monster on flop it will mess with them the rest of the night.
